Stantec’s New York City Landscape Architecture studio seeks a Principal Landscape Architect with a strong focus on Business Development to grow opportunities across the Northeast. The role combines client leadership, project oversight, and design excellence in a senior, multidisciplinary setting.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, Environmental, and Transportation teams, leading pursuits and mentoring staff while maintaining project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program.
• Professional licensure is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in landscape architecture or related field.
• Proven success in business development and client management.

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow client relationships across public and private sectors in the Northeast.
• Drive business development strategy including pursuit planning and capture management.
• Manage and oversee large, multi-disciplinary projects from scoping to construction administration.
• Mentor staff and lead interdisciplinary collaboration across offices.
• Ensure design excellence, budgets, schedules, and quality control.
