Thomas Young Group in New York is expanding its landscape architecture practice and seeks a senior leader to guide projects from planning to delivery across public and private clients. You will influence growth, strengthen relationships, and help shape the future of the practice while mentoring teams.

The ideal candidate holds a NY-registered Landscape Architect license with 10+ years in consulting, strong site planning knowledge, and a proven track record in project and client management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture required.
• 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment.
• Registered Landscape Architect in New York, or ability to obtain registration.
• Strong understanding of site planning, entitlement processes, and regulatory approvals.
• Experience managing projects, teams, and client relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and business development skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead landscape architecture projects from planning through delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
• Support business development, proposals, and market growth initiatives.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and team performance.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level landscape architects.
• Collaborate with planning, architecture, and engineering teams on multidisciplinary projects.
• Provide technical leadership and design guidance across multiple offices.

What you'll be doing:

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture

10+ years of experience within a consulting environment

Registered Landscape Architect in New York, or the ability to obtain registration

Excellent communication, leadership, and business development skills
