Job summary

NetSage is seeking a Principal Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance complex data-intensive software for mission-critical environments. You will build scalable Java applications, implement microservices with Spring Boot, and work with distributed data systems across modern CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring Boot background, hands-on Docker/Kubernetes experience, and familiarity with MongoDB and messaging ecosystems like Kafka and JMS.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• BS in Computer Science or related field with 12 years of relevant experience, or no degree with 16 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience with MongoDB or comparable databases.
• Experience developing and deploying containerized applications with Docker.
• Experience with Kafka and JMS messaging systems.
• Experience deploying in Kubernetes environments and with CI/CD pipelines.
