Sezzle seeks a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, operate, and scale the platform that powers our fintech services in the United States.

You will own complex initiatives from architecture through production rollout, working with security, compliance, and product teams to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. The role demands deep cloud, container, and database expertise and hands-on leadership.

Competenze

• 12+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and relational databases.
• Experience with on-call rotations and incident response.
• Ability to design scalable, cost-efficient architectures for high-traffic apps.

Mansioni

• Own the architecture and evolution of core infrastructure.
• Engineer for scale: run load tests, diagnose bottlenecks.
• Design and build AWS infrastructure with IAM, networking.
• Operate the Kubernetes platform with reliable deployments.
• Scale Aurora RDS for MySQL and Postgres, optimize queries.
• Improve reliability with SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Participate in on-call and drive incident recovery.
• Build IaC and operational automation; reduce toil.
• Develop AI-assisted tooling for operations.
