Retool is seeking an infrastructure engineer to scale our cloud platform for high availability, performance, and global reach. You’ll work with a cross-functional team to deliver robust infrastructure for core and emerging products, evolve our backend for cloud and on‑prem deployments, and drive developer tooling and automation.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration across engineering, product, and customer success, and building scalable, secure systems with a multi-region mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering projects and process improvements.
• Experience scaling cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux, containers, and orchestration (Docker, containerd, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Node.js and Postgres in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Scale Retool’s cloud platform for high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver infrastructure for core products.
• Evolve backend architecture for cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Set and prioritize roadmaps to maximize customer impact.
