Jobot is seeking a senior-level infrastructure engineer for a primarily remote role with occasional on-site support in Dallas, OKC, and Montgomery, AL. You will act as the technical bridge between federal operations teams and internal engineering, diagnosing and resolving complex production issues across Linux, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

Required are 10+ years in infrastructure engineering, VMware, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Job Details

We are seeking a senior-level infrastructure engineer to serve as the technical bridge between federal customer operations teams and internal engineering organizations. This is a highly hands-on role focused on diagnosing and resolving complex production issues across Linux systems, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

This is primarily a remote role where your time will be split between primarily working virtually and supporting customer environments in Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Montgomery, AL. Travel to customer sites is up to 25%

MUST HAVE

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering/support and systems administration experience
• VMware (ESXi, vCenter, NSX)
• Linux systems administration (Redhat, Ubuntu)
• Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure

NICE TO HAVE

• Federal or DoD customer experience
• KVM/libvirt
• Certifications: VCP, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD
• Security+, CISSP, or CASP+
• AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
