Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a Principal Software Architect to provide technical leadership across identity resolution platforms and large data systems. You will define the architectural direction, design scalable solutions, and guide teams on real-time and batch processing using Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL on AWS/Snowflake/Databricks.

The role demands deep expertise in identity graphs, data processing, and low-latency APIs, with a track record of delivering reliable, secure systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Architect or senior technical leadership experience on large enterprise systems.
• Deep experience with Identity Resolution / Entity Resolution concepts.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Scala and SQL; Spark expertise.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks in cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture for enterprise-scale Identity Resolution platforms.
• Design systems for identity matching, linking, deduplication, and survivorship.
• Build low-latency APIs and distributed services for high-throughput workloads.
• Lead engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure and maintainable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and set standards for architecture, security, and observability.
