Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead architectural direction for Identity Resolution platforms and enterprise-scale data systems. You will craft scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions and guide engineering teams across real-time and batch processing.

The role requires deep expertise in Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL, with strong cloud experience (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks). This is a senior technical leadership position with a focus on performance and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience as Architect, Principal Engineer, or senior technical leader.
• Deep experience designing Identity Resolution/Entity Resolution systems.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture for enterprise-scale Identity Resolution platforms and services.
• Design systems for deterministic and probabilistic identity matching and entity resolution.
• Develop architectures for real-time and batch identity resolution use cases.
• Define strategies for identity matching, confidence scoring, survivorship, and data lifecycle management.
• Design low-latency APIs and services for high-throughput workloads.
• Architect distributed applications using Java, Python, and Scala with Spark workloads.
• Design data processing pipelines with Spark, Snowflake, and Databricks.
