Job summary

Integral Consulting Inc. seeks a Principal Hydrogeologist/Geologist to lead complex soil and groundwater investigations and remediation efforts across client projects in the United States.

You will direct technical teams, maintain QA/QC standards, and help develop new services while building strong client relationships. The role requires an MS or PhD in geology or related field, a Professional Geologist or Engineer license, 15+ years of environmental consulting, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in geology, hydrogeology, environmental chemistry or related field.
• Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license
• 15+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Proven leadership on investigation/remediation projects as a strategic advisor to clients
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serving as principal-in-charge for complex soil, groundwater investigation and remediation projects.
• Consulting and/or testifying expert on complex litigation matters.
• Advising clients on technical risk, regulatory strategy, and remediation approaches associated with redevelopment, transactions, or long-term liability management.
• Interfacing with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to support permitting, compliance, and closure strategies.
• Providing senior technical review of reports, designs, and modeling analyses to ensure defensibility and technical rigor.
• Mentoring senior and mid-level staff and contributing to the development of technical standards, best practices, and thought leadership.
• Contributing to business development through proposal support, technical scoping, and strengthening long-term client relationships.
