Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA is seeking a Principal HRBP to accelerate product delivery and customer outcomes through strategic HR partnerships. You will work with senior leaders and multi-COE partners to build the right talent mix and capabilities for an AI-enabled future.

The role requires deep strategic thinking, business acumen, and strong communication skills to translate priorities into people initiatives, drive organizational effectiveness, and lead leadership development and succession planning

Qualifications

10+ years in an HR business partner role or equivalent experience.
Experience in a matrixed organization with multiple COE partners.
Experience working with global teams across US, Europe, Asia.
Experience partnering with senior technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Function as a strategic consultant and trusted advisor to the leadership team; translate business needs into HR plans that accelerate product delivery and customer wins.
Design, recommend, and implement effective organization structures aligned with business strategy and culture.
Partner with business leaders to design and implement strategic workforce plans for an AI-enabled organization.
Coach senior leaders to maximize leadership effectiveness and advise on risks and org design options.
