Job summary

Fruition Group is partnering with an advanced computing company in Boulder to hire a Principal Hardware Engineer who will own complex electronic systems from architecture through validation. This senior role requires hands-on leadership across mixed-signal, digital, analog, power and embedded hardware.

You will design, validate and integrate multi-PCBA hardware, mentor engineers, and collaborate with firmware, FPGA, software and mechanical teams to deliver production-ready hardware.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Strong schematic capture and PCB design knowledge.
• Experience with ADC/DAC architectures and mixed-signal design.
• Experience integrating FPGAs and processors.
• Strong debug, lab, and test skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop multi-PCBA electronic systems.
• Own hardware designs from requirements to production-ready implementation.
• Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Guide PCB layout and schematics.
• Select processors, FPGAs, ADCs, DACs, and components.
• Develop power regulation and sequencing architectures.
• Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, and integration.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
