Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a hardware engineer to design and develop network visibility products, involving high-speed networking, FPGA resources, and complex measurements. You will contribute to schematics, PCB layout, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver state-of-the-art hardware.

The role requires a BS in EE with 5–7 years in product development, strong signal integrity and EMC knowledge, and excellent technical communication in English.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in product development from concept to production.
  • Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity concepts and EMC design.
  • Proficient with lab equipment and capturing complex measurements.
  • Experience with high-performance processors and embedded platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written English; able to work in small teams.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design and development of new network visibility hardware products.
  • Develop state-of-the-art hardware for next-generation products; guide design direction.
  • Author schematics and manage PCB layout resources.
  • Support sustaining efforts and implement changes to improve yields.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams including Mechanical, RTL, Software, and Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrate strong debugging and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

  • Knowledge of PCB Stackup\'s, and understanding of materials
  • Experience with switching power supply design
  • Strong de-bug skills and analytical problem solving
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Networking experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work in small teams is required
