Job summary

TSMC Washington seeks a Global Infrastructure Software Engineer to shape architecture and long-term direction for its enterprise infrastructure platform. You will partner with North America and Taiwan teams to build cloud-native, highly available platforms that power thousands of applications and manufacturing services.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, SRE discipline, and cross-functional leadership to ensure resilient, scalable systems across multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading cloud-native platform or distributed infra architecture.
• 1+ years as Principal/Staff/Distinguished Engineer or Technical Lead.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, technical vision, and long-term roadmap for enterprise infra platform.
• Architect highly available, scalable, automated platforms powering thousands of apps.
• Lead development of self-service platforms and platform services.
• Drive reliability, capacity planning, SLOs, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with AI, Data, Network & Security, and App teams across NA and Taiwan.
