Job summary

TSMC Washington seeks a seasoned Global Infrastructure Software Engineer to define architecture, technical vision, and a long-term roadmap for its enterprise infrastructure platform. You will collaborate with teams in North America and Taiwan to build highly available, scalable platforms powering manufacturing services.

The role requires 7+ years in software or infrastructure engineering, 3+ years leading cloud-native architecture, and 1+ year in a senior technical leadership role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading architecture for cloud-native platforms or distributed infrastructure.
• 1+ years' experience as a Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Distinguished Engineer, or Technical Lead.
• Strong technical communication skills for collaborating with global cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build Cloud-Native Platforms for private, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures.
• Lead Platform Engineering for environment provisioning and self-service infrastructure.
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering with focus on reliability, capacity, incident prevention and production readiness.
• Provide Technical Leadership across AI, Data, Network & Security, and Application teams to ensure platform consistency.
