Job summary

TSMC Washington seeks a Global Infrastructure Software Engineer to shape the architecture and long-term roadmap of our enterprise infrastructure platform. You will partner with North America and Taiwan teams to design highly available, scalable platforms powering thousands of applications.

We expect 7+ years in infra engineering, 3+ years in cloud-native architecture, and leadership experience. On-site in Vancouver, WA with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading architecture for cloud-native platforms or distributed infrastructure.
• 1+ years as Principal, Staff, Distinguished Engineer, or Technical Lead.
• Strong technical communication across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Build Cloud-Base Platforms for private, hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Design resilient multi-region infrastructure supporting worldwide deployments and DR.
• Lead Platform Engineering with self-service provisioning and golden templates.
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering with reliability, capacity planning and incident prevention.
• Provide Technical Leadership across AI, Data, Network & Security teams to ensure scalability.
