The Combined Jewish Philanthropies is seeking a Senior Philanthropic Advisor who will serve as a frontline fundraiser for principal and major gifts, including multi-hundred-thousand and seven-figure commitments. This leader will manage top donor relationships and partner with senior leaders to advance CJP's comprehensive campaign across local and global communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of portfolio management and development experience, including demonstrated success soliciting and closing gifts at the $250,000 level and above.
• Proven track record of building lasting donor relationships and achieving ambitious fundraising goals.
• Familiarity with Donor Advised Funds, planned giving, and ability to work effectively with donors and their professional advisors.
• Working knowledge of the tax benefits and strategic uses of DAFs, including funding through appreciated assets.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a defined portfolio of approximately 100-125 principal and major gift prospects with 12-15 meaningful donor contacts per month.
• Develop and carry out individualized strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward each donor; lead complex, high-stakes solicitations.
• Lead frontline fundraising for the comprehensive campaign, developing strategies for top prospects and coordinating with leadership.
• Identify and qualify new principal and major gift prospects and contribute to pipeline development.
• Advise donors on Donor Advised Fund options and coordinate with Gift Planning on Blended gifts and assets.
