Job summary

Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) seeks a Philanthropic Advisor to manage a major gift portfolio at the $250,000+ level and drive principal gift solicitations, including $1M+ commitments, within a comprehensive campaign.

You will work closely with the VP, Philanthropic Strategies, Gift Planning, and Annual Campaign teams, traveling locally to meet donors. The role features a hybrid schedule with on-site collaboration and remote donor outreach.

Qualifications

• Experience soliciting and closing gifts at six figures and above.
• Ability to qualify new prospects and build a strong donor pipeline.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building.
• Familiarity with Donor Advised Funds (DAF) and planned gifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects.
• Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts.
• Develop and implement strategies for principal gift solicitations.
• Collaborate with VP and teams on campaign activities.
• Prepare briefings, proposals, and donor communications.
