Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates (HCEA) is a multi-disciplined ENR Top 500 engineering firm with 20 offices in the mid-Atlantic and Florida. The successful candidate will perform geotechnical engineering for public and private clients, preparing reports and calculations while supporting field staff and performing occasional site visits.

The role requires 12+ years of geotechnical consulting experience, a NJ P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and/or Masters in Civil or Geological Engineering (ABET accredited).
• 12+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering consulting experience.
• P.E. license in New Jersey or eligible by reciprocity within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports and calculations.
• Provide technical support to field staff and QA/QC field reports.
• Occasional site visits related to active projects.
• Potential re-categorization as Managing Principal depending on qualifications.
