Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to build scalable AI capabilities for Fidelity Wealth. You will partner with business, product, architecture, data, and platform teams to turn Wealth priorities into secure, reliable solutions that help advisors work more effectively and improve customer experiences.

The role requires deep hands-on coding in modern languages, cloud experience, and a lead mindset to design, prototype, and deliver end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, onsite work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns for scalable, resilient systems.
• Proven experience with at least one modern language (Python/Node.js/Java).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a growth mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, embrace feedback, and deliver on commitments.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles.
