Fidelity Institutional (FI) is looking for a principal full stack engineer to join the Integrated Portfolio Construction team to implement innovative solutions for financial advisors using the latest technology in a collaborative and engaging environment. You will play a leading role in the Agile development of analytical tools used in the portfolio construction process. These tools will be used by not only members of the Fidelity Institutional Wealth Adviser (FIWA) Investment team but also partners across FI in discussions with external clients. Our development teams are highly collaborative and encourage creativity, innovation, and excellence. Your experience, skills, and input will be critical to our shared success. The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs.
  • Experience establishing technical architectures and best practices.
  • Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Experience mentoring technical associates.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Angular framework.
  • Experience with Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud framework.
  • Experience with databases and SQL.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.
