Job summary

CKSource is seeking a Principal Product Engineer to shape the CKEditor frontend and extend to backend services and AI. You will identify high-leverage opportunities, prototype quickly, and evolve experiments into production capabilities.

You will collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, and domain experts to drive end-to-end features across editor/frontend, cloud services, and integrations. This high-autonomy role focuses on AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend engineering skills with modern technologies.
• Ability to move from problem definition to architecture and implementation.
• Experience with automation, workflows, or agent-like systems.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to write production code.
• Fluency in Polish and English (C1).
• Strong engineering judgment, including when not to use AI.
• Experience influencing technical decisions and collaborating across teams.
• Curiosity, ownership, and interest in applying AI in practice.
• Experience with AI in developer tooling or internal systems.
