Job summary

Palo Alto Networks seeks a Principal/Sr. Staff Frontend Engineer for the AIRS team in Santa Clara, hybrid 3 days on-site. You will architect the Prisma AIRS frontend, build scalable enterprise UI to visualize threat classifications, tune ML models, and defend against adversarial threats.

You will lead frontend engineering standards, drive modern UI architectures, and mentor a UI team while collaborating with product, UX, and ML/backend engineers to deliver high-performance, secure interfaces.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of UI or Full Stack experience.
• Strong frontend toolchain setup experience (testing, docs, bundling).
• Experience with Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine and web security practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end frontend architecture for Prisma AIRS platform across environments.
• Lead UI engineering standards, CI/CD tooling, and TDD practices.
• Collaborate with product, UX, ML, and backend teams to translate requirements into UI workflows.
• Mentor UI team through code and architectural reviews to raise the bar.
