Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Finance is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst for the Database and Multicloud team. You will lead complex financial analysis, long‑range planning, and strategic projects across Database and Multicloud, including Oracle Database offerings on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to optimize growth and profitability. You will drive executive‑level decision support, mentored by senior leaders, and apply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or related analytical role.
• Advanced financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel skills with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of P&Ls, profitability, cost allocations, unit economics, and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills to translate analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
• Technical acumen with curiosity and proactive learning to navigate ambiguity.
• Track record of delivering strategic financial analysis and improving tools, incl. automation/AI.
• Business judgment, problem-solving, and ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Ability to mentor others and raise analytical quality; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex financial modeling and scenario analyses for product and infra decisions.
• Lead finance reviews for new products and pricing; guide issues through cross-functional approvals.
• Apply automation and AI tools to strengthen financial modeling and decision support.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance on launches, expansion, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Lead strategic finance projects with executive-ready analyses under tight timelines.
• Develop long-range plans linking bookings, commitments, and consumption to revenue forecasts and investments.
