Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst for the Database and Multicloud Finance team in the United States. You will own the team’s financial framework, run high-impact analyses, and drive AI implementation and process simplification.

The role requires 8+ years of FP&A experience, strong P&L knowledge, and the ability to lead complex scenarios. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Finance is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, strategic finance, or related analytical role.
• Advanced financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel skills with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of P&Ls, profitability, cost allocations, unit economics, and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
• Technical acumen with curiosity and proactive learning.
• Track record of process improvement, governance, automation, and use of AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex financial modeling and scenario analysis for product and infrastructure decisions.
• Lead reviews for new products and pricing; guide cross-functional approvals.
• Drive automation, AI implementation, and process simplification with scalable tools and SOPs.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Commercial Enablement, and Finance on launches and capacity planning.
• Provide executive decision support and rapid, well-framed analyses for senior leaders.
• Own operating framework and governance across Database and Multicloud; drive continuous improvement.
