Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to join the Global Operations and Supply Chain team. This role focuses on understanding gross margin drivers for the Medical Surgical Portfolio, enabling margin expansion and strong business partnering. Onsite 4 days/week with one remote day; no relocation assistance offered.

The position requires a Bachelor's and 7+ years of experience, GAAP knowledge, and experience with SAP/BPCS/Hyperion/CMR. MBA/CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years with advanced degree.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.
• Proven experience leveraging SAP, BPCS, Hyperion Spend, CMR, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of product costs and key drivers of cost.
• Gather historical information and summarize data to highlight gross margin trends.
• Collaborate across GOSC and Medical Surgical Portfolio teams.
• Lead OU presentations of GOSC impact on Gross Margin analysis.
• Support the AOP and quarterly forecasts to ensure accurate OU allocations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and cost roll reconciliation.
