Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Principal Field Service Technical Training Specialist to shape and deliver technical training for field service teams and customer audiences in a highly regulated pharma/biotech environment. You will translate complex engineering information into practical learning that strengthens system understanding and maintenance capability, partnering across engineering and service teams to stay current with product updates.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate's/HS diploma with relevant engineering experience.
• Strong electrical engineering foundation and schematics interpretation.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Field Service Technical Training Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will shape and deliver technical training programs that support field service teams and customer audiences across a complex, highly regulated environment. The specialist will translate detailed engineering information into practical learning experiences that strengthen system understanding, maintenance capability, and service readiness. This position partners closely with engineering, service, and cross-functional stakeholders to keep training content current, effective, and aligned with new product introductions and system updates.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $109,600 – $164,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop technical training curricula and materials for service and customer audiences
• Create and update training content using engineering documentation and repair procedures
• Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training programs on system operation and maintenance
• Translate complex electrical concepts into effective training for diverse audiences
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure training content is current and relevant
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to course content
• Support global service readiness for new product introductions and updates

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience, Associate's Degree with 6+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in engineering or a related technical field
• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles
• Experience interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
• Hands-on technical expertise in troubleshooting complex systems
