The business is experiencing continued growth and is looking to appoint a senior technical professional who can operate at the intersection of engineering, customers, and commercial teams.

This is a highly customer-facing position, with responsibility for developing relationships with senior technical stakeholders, identifying new design opportunities, and helping customers solve complex system-level challenges. The successful candidate will also play an important role in translating customer and market requirements into future product and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong technical relationships with strategic customers, engaging with senior engineers, system architects, and technical decision-makers
• Act as a trusted technical partner to customers, developing a detailed understanding of their system requirements and helping identify appropriate technical solutions
• Lead technical activities associated with new design opportunities, working closely with sales and engineering teams from initial engagement through to implementation
• Support solution development through system-level architecture discussions and demonstrate how the company's technology can address customer performance, reliability, and system requirements
• Work closely with regional sales teams and channel partners to improve technical engagement, develop sales enablement materials, and deliver relevant training
• Identify emerging customer requirements and market trends, communicating insights internally to help shape product development and commercial strategy
• Represent the customer internally and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful technical outcomes and long-term account growth

Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of applications, systems, or design engineering experience within technology sectors such as datacenter infrastructure, AI, networking, communications, or related markets
• Strong experience working directly with system architects, senior engineers, and technical leadership within complex technology organizations
• Demonstrated ability to understand sophisticated system requirements and translate technical challenges into practical solutions
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect technical capabilities with customer requirements and business opportunities
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across high-performance computing, communications, networking, or related systems
• Strong understanding of system timing, synchronization, and related architecture concepts
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and synchronization technologies is advantageous
• Experience using specialist engineering and measurement equipment is desirable
