With a global presence and a robust US operation, we are looking for a technically skilled and solution-oriented Field Application Engineer to provide crucial support for our leading embedded development tools across the US West Coast.

$120-150 OTE.

Responsibilities

• Technical Liaison: Act as the main technical contact, providing expert support to key customers.
• Product Commissioning: Guide customers through the initial set-up and successful commissioning of our systems.
• Customer Advocacy: Serve as the vital technical interface between customers and our internal Development/Engineering teams.
• Internal Support: Provide deep technical support to the Sales department and assist with technical marketing initiatives.
• Training & Documentation: Plan and conduct technical training courses and customer seminars, preparing necessary documentation.

Required Skills

• A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, or technical computer science, or a comparable technical qualification is required.
• Development experience in embedded software, preferably in C/C++.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby).
• Experience with debug systems is an advantage.
• Good and confident communication in English.
• Willingness to travel within the western United States and occasionally to Germany.
