Job summary

TSMC Washington is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to minimize process variations in the ETCH manufacturing steps and maximize wafer yield. You will analyze data, drive improvements, and coordinate with Manufacturing, Equipment, and other teams to support high-volume semiconductor production at the Camas, WA site.

Ideal candidates hold a BS+ in a related engineering field, with 5+ years in ETCH in a high-volume fab, strong data analytics capabilities, and proven project management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis capability includes commonality check and DOE (Preferred).
• Multi-tasking and project management skills to balance many tasks and meet deadlines (Preferred).
• Work with Manufacturing, Equipment and other function teams to achieve quality and capacity goals (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis using SPC, real-time monitoring methods, and additional sources to monitor and maintain process performance.
• Collaborate with other functions for new technology transfer, process development, and problem solving.
• Be flexible with hours to meet fab goals and abnormal event handling, including meetings in Asia time zones.
