Job summary

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) in Aiken, SC seeks a Principal Estimator to provide advanced estimating, project controls, cost management, scheduling, and financial analysis across complex capital projects for DOE. The role develops and maintains estimating apps, guides cost forecasts, and supports management decisions throughout life cycles.

The position requires 10+ years in engineering, construction, or related fields, with leadership ability and DOE security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree with extensive practical experience in cost control and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, estimating, and cost management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating complex data.
• DOE security clearance experience or ability to obtain a DOE clearance.
• Proven ability to develop and manage baselines, budgets, forecasts, and spend plans.
• Proficiency with automated accounting and project controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee project controls and estimating applications.
• Provide management with planning, scheduling, financial analysis, and forecasting.
• Analyze cost and schedule performance; identify variances and risks.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Project Controls personnel.
