Blue Shield of California is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist, Principal to lead the day-to-day execution of the ERM program, coordinating risk identification, assessment, aggregation, and reporting through the GRC tool. You will partner with Ascendiun Family of Companies to strengthen risk-informed decision-making and risk reporting to executive governance forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 4 years of related experience.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, FSA/ASA or CFA) and additional degrees (MBA or JD) preferred.
• 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Mastery of Enterprise Risk Management standards and processes.
• Requires health insurance industry experience; additional experience in regulated industries preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information into executive risk narratives.
• Executive presence with strong communication and presentation skills; ability to deliver concise reporting to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and professional skepticism; ability to validate assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Execute day-to-day management and maturation of the ERM program.
• Identify, assess, aggregate, and report risks using the GRC tool.
• Develop mitigation strategies and strengthen risk-informed decision-making with business leaders.
• Support oversight of risk matters by executive leadership and governance committees.
