Your scope includes setting platform engineering direction, coordinating with security and risk teams, and mentoring senior engineers to align technical decisions with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or platform engineering.
• Distributed, high-availability systems experience.
• Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and define business systems solutions aligned to Deluxe's vision.
• Set architecture principles, guardrails, and reference implementations; govern architecture artifacts.
• Own the toolchain delivery, including source control, artifact management, and CI/CD workflows.
• Lead AI integration in the engineering workflow with governance and safety controls.
• Translate business priorities into prioritized technical investments with product and business leaders.
• Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance on data protection and access control.
• Mentor architects and engineers; lead architecture reviews and cross-team alignment.
• Communicate decisions and trade-offs to executives and technical audiences.
