Job summary

CME Group seeks a Senior Director, Principal Enterprise Architect to steer architectural health and direction for a broad product portfolio. You will champion agile enablement over gatekeeping, lead the Patterns Council, and drive cloud-native blueprints with IaC/PoC while ensuring strict regulatory alignment.

You will mentor leaders and embed a You Build It, You Run It culture, advancing GenAI and resilient, low-latency financial systems across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture with executive leadership.
• Experience in high-throughput, ultra-low latency or SIFMU financial services environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise strategy for a broad product portfolio.
• Replace governance with agile, automated enablement paths and self-service options.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to produce cloud-native blueprints using IaC/PoC.
• Drive GenAI, cloud-native design, and resilient architectures aligned with regulatory standards.
