Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. You will design, govern, and improve the firm’s enterprise application architecture aligned with a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

You’ll collaborate with business and technology stakeholders on Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM/EA to drive portfolio rationalization, capability mapping, and architecture maturity across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in enterprise architecture and related disciplines.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or similar EA frameworks and their practical application.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure, M365, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Experience with ServiceNow APM/EA modules for portfolio management and mapping.
• Ability to translate business strategy into capability models and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns and reference architectures using Microsoft Azure services.
• Define reusable solution patterns and guardrails for secure, scalable delivery.
• Document architecture standards and roadmaps in ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance by participating in reviews and approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams to identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges.
• Contribute to ongoing maturity of enterprise architecture practices.
