Job summary

IRALOGIX, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer in Charlotte, NC or Pittsburgh, PA. This hands-on senior role will own the architecture of the platform, scale retirement-asset processing, and drive observability and reliability improvements across distributed services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in computer science or related field, or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 8 years in distributed systems at scale.
• FinTech or startup experience preferred.
• AWS experience and/or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core platform services for high-scale retirement transactions.
• Improve throughput, resiliency, and performance of distributed cloud services.
• Build observability: dashboards, monitoring, alerts for precision processing.
• Arbitrate architectural decisions with stakeholders and architecture teams.
• Deliver high-quality code with SDLC and automated quality gates; improve test coverage.
• Debug production issues across services and stack levels.
• Mentor the next generation of technical leaders.
