Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Principal Engineer, Master Black Belt to lead enterprise-wide quality and continuous improvement across high-performance server manufacturing. You will mentor Black Belts and ensure product reliability while aligning improvements with business goals.

You will leverage analytics, drive cross-functional collaboration, and standardize Lean Six Sigma practices to sustain performance gains and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• MBA or exposure to business, finance or economics is advantageous.
• 10–15 years in high-volume manufacturing with 5+ years in leadership or transformation roles.
• Expertise in regression, correlation, DOE, SPC, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, and commonality studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to transformation initiatives and set new manufacturing risk and quality standards.
• Define and implement systems/frameworks supporting smart factory vision, including automation, metrology, inspection, testing, and predictive analytics.
• Use data-rich environments to improve yield, reliability, and throughput.
• Collaborate with design, quality, manufacturing, test, and supplier engineering to deploy solutions in production.
• Apply advanced statistical methods to identify and control risk in complex manufacturing.
• Translate PFMEA/DFM outputs into actionable process controls to prevent variation.
• Mentor Black Belts and Green Belts to develop technical and leadership skills.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
