Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to oversee and improve quality across manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will lead ESD program implementation, guide audits, and drive continuous improvements while collaborating with engineering, IT, and quality teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, LEAN/Kaizen participation, and strong communication to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or other Engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years experience in a high-mix, medium-volume hardware manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience managing the ESD program in electronics manufacturing.
• Experience in Quality auditing for ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.
• Demonstrated problem solving and leadership in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QMS documentation for manufacturing processes.
• Lead internal and external quality audits and address inquiries for customers/auditors.
• Provide guidance on ESD control program implementation across manufacturing areas.
• Present manufacturing yield data and KPIs at weekly Quality Review meetings.
• Drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions with relevant teams.
