Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in San Jose, CA, seeks a Quality Assurance Leader to advance the site quality management system and drive continuous improvement across NPI and production parts. You will lead and mentor the QA team, champion Quality First, manage CAPA and NCR processes, and coordinate internal audits to maintain ISO:9000 compliance with upcoming site/customer certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Minimum 6+ years in quality engineering or related area in manufacturing, with leadership experience.
Hands-on with quality tools including PFMEs, CAPA, RCCA, 8D, and control plans.
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Internal audit experience is preferred and ASQ QE/RE/QM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor QA team.
Be an outspoken advocate for Quality First throughout the plant.
Communicate with customers on quality escapes, visits, escalations, etc.
Maintain and improve the site QMS (NCR, CAPA, internal audits, training).
Ensure ISO:9000 compliance and upcoming site/customer certifications.
Own training requirements (ESD, 5S, C-TPAT, Warehouse, Operations, Repair & FA).
Develop and track KPI data (first pass yield, scrap, returns).
Drive cross-functional projects with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering.
