Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with mainframe techs (COBOL, IMS, DB2, CICS, JCL).
- Proven ability to define technical strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver complex outcomes.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting scalable, high-performance applications.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and influence across distributed teams.
- Familiarity with agile delivery methods and continuous improvement.
- Experience with incident and change management practices.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for the Strategic Growth portfolio and translate priorities into scalable, secure solutions.
- Lead evolution of mainframe engineering to improve efficiency, stability, and speed to value.
- Partner with product and cross-ART teams to design solutions delivering complex capabilities.
- Break down complex problems into clear steps with a focus on quality and security.
- Influence architecture decisions and engineering standards across teams.
- Mentor engineers, develop talent, and foster accountability and learning.
- Support production stability through incident, change, and problem-management practices.
