Job summary

MainframeMaster in Jersey City seeks a seasoned engineering leader to provide thought and technical leadership for key initiatives and to shape architecture for a platform handling high-scale data processing.

You will set technical standards, mentor engineers, assess current implementations, and partner with Operations to upgrade infrastructure for optimal performance and uptime. Collaboration across teams will drive process improvements and enhance customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought and technical leadership for the key initiatives.
• Develop and maintain architecture on a platform for high-scale data processing.
• Set, communicate, and reinforce technical standards.
• Lead junior and senior engineers, leveraging and growing their skills.
• Assess current platform implementations and decide actions to meet customer needs.
• Work with Operations to plan infrastructure upgrades, troubleshoot, and tune for uptime.
• Collaborate with peers and management on process improvements and customer service.
• Participate in code review, unit testing, and provide support in non-prod or production.
