Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building large‑scale data platforms, metadata systems, search platforms, or knowledge management technologies.
• 5+ years leading architecture and implementation of enterprise data catalog, metadata management, or data discovery platforms.
• Proven track record designing systems that inventory and index thousands to millions of enterprise data assets.
• Deep experience with metadata ingestion, metadata modeling, lineage, governance, and data asset management.
• Strong software engineering background with distributed systems and platform engineering.
• Experience building highly available, cloud‑scale systems in production environments.
• Expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, engineering, and evolution of metadata platforms and data catalog capabilities across multiple verticals.
• Design scalable data discovery, inventory, classification, and organization of data assets enterprise‑wide.
• Lead development of metadata models, governance metadata, taxonomies, and data knowledge graphs.
• Deliver AI‑driven discovery experiences and semantic retrieval for enterprise data assets.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects; drive architectural standards and engineering excellence.
