Job summary

Flowserve Corporation seeks a technically strong and innovation-driven Principal Engineer to serve as a Technical Leader within Flowserve's Innovation Execution team. You will develop and deliver advanced solutions for emerging customer and industry needs within a critical growth area.

You will lead sprint-based innovation programs, with support from dotted-line team members, to accelerate development, solve technical challenges, and deliver high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related technical field required.
• Several years of technical experience in product development, systems engineering, or R&D.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate work across reporting structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sprint execution for innovation programs with clear direction and timely delivery.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership to dotted-line team members and align priorities.
• Coordinate with Innovation Core Functions to ensure capabilities and resources.
• Translate priorities into actionable workplans, milestones, and sprint goals.
• Support problem solving, design decisions, prototyping, testing, and validation for innovation initiatives.
