Job summary

Algoryq is seeking a senior architect to own the architecture of streaming and consensus-critical systems for clients with demanding failure modes. You will design on paper, defend the design in review, and then lead a small senior team to implementation.

You will apply deep knowledge of distributed systems, mentor peers, and communicate complex concepts clearly to executives and new hires alike. This role offers location flexibility and a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• A decade of production distributed-systems work.
• Fluency in at least two of: Rust, Go, JVM internals, Postgres internals, Kafka internals.
• Writing that makes complex systems legible to executives and new hires alike.
