Our storage layer spans dozens of bare-metal nodes across multiple colocation facilities. We need an engineer who understands distributed consensus, replication, and failure detection to help us build the next generation of our storage fabric.

Responsibilities

• — Design and implement distributed storage and consensus protocols
• — Build failure detection, leader election, and automatic failover systems
• — Optimize data placement and replication strategies across geographic regions

• — Debug subtle concurrency, ordering, and consistency issues in production

Requirements

• — 6+ years of systems engineering experience
