Wood Mackenzie in Houston is seeking a Principal Consultant for its Energy Supply Chain group. The role leads consulting engagements, guiding project teams, and delivering analytics-driven insights to energy clients. The incumbent will manage relationships across levels and coach junior staff while driving profitability.

Hybrid role with in-office presence in Houston or other WoodMac offices; travel up to 60–80% is expected as projects demand."

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years in Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations or Engineering; Power & Renewables or Oil & Gas experience preferred.
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, project/time management and managerial skills.
Strong technical writing and persuasive document construction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for diverse clients.
Proven track record leading teams and coaching junior staff.
Willingness to travel 60-80%.

Responsabilités

As project lead, ensure high-quality solutions for energy clients, from analytics to presentations.
Manage client relationships at all levels, from C-Suite to project teams.
Oversee junior team members and drive successful project execution.
Develop work plans with clear objectives and deliverables.
Provide management with progress updates including revenue and profitability.
Identify opportunities to expand WoodMac consulting services and products.
