Job summary

Wood Mackenzie is seeking a senior Supply Chain consultant with extensive experience in energy sectors to lead client engagements and deliver analytics and strategic insights. You will manage relationships across levels from the C-Suite to project teams and drive development of new solutions to meet client objectives.

The role requires 12+ years in Consulting or related fields, strong analytical and writing skills, and a passion for coaching junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; post-graduate degree generally preferred.
• 12+ years in Consulting, Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering; energy sector experience preferred (Power & Renewables and/or Oil & Gas).
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving, project/time management and managerial skills.
• Strong technical writing; ability to write persuasive documents and storylines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for a wide range of clients.
• Active coaching mindset; focus on improving productivity and opportunities for junior staff.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and ensure quality of analytics and presentations.
• Manage multiple client relationships from C-Suite to project teams.
• Collaborate on development of new solutions to meet client objectives.
• Oversee junior team members and drive project execution.
• Develop and maintain work plans with clear objectives and deliverables.
• QA/QC of analyses and deliverables.
• Support management with planning, recruiting, training and performance development.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and profitability.
