Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE or related technical field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience architecting embedded or software platforms at scale.
• Experience defining architectures spanning multiple products, customers, or hardware targets.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, modularity, APIs, portability and maintainability.
• Strong depth in embedded and distributed systems within automotive or complex ecosystems.
• Ability to make consequential technical decisions under ambiguity and influence across teams.
• Solid software development foundation with ability to move between architecture and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with credibility at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the software architecture and technical strategy for the Auto Tech portfolio.
• Architect scalable, modular software platforms across diverse automotive environments.
• Establish foundations, abstractions, and interfaces for portable, reusable software solutions.
• Collaborate with audio, acoustics, signal processing, and ML/AI teams to translate technology into capabilities.
• Anticipate changes in software-defined vehicles and translate them into platform direction.
• Engage with OEMs and ecosystem partners to ensure integration into future vehicle platforms.
• Lead cross-functional architecture decisions and mentor senior engineers and architects.
