Job summary

Bose Corporation is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Systems Architect, Edge AI to shape the next generation of audio and edge AI technologies. You will design scalable, secure architectures spanning wearables, devices, and embedded systems, and drive AI-enabled engineering loops from concept to deployment.

You will lead architecture discussions, build simulations, and collaborate with hardware, software, and ML teams to turn insights into reusable IP across Bose platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience building or architecting complex embedded hardware/software systems.
• Strong systems architecture across hardware and software.
• Knowledge of audio signal processing and edge AI considerations.
• Experience deploying ML models on embedded/edge devices.

Responsibilities

• Architect embedded hardware/software solutions for future Bose technologies.
• Evaluate concepts for feasibility, tradeoffs, risk, and scalability.
• Translate audio, sensing, ML, and AI into reusable architectures.
• Build simulations, prototypes, and experiments to evaluate ideas.
• Develop AI workflows and engineering infrastructure for exploration.
• Stress-test architectures for power, memory, latency, and security.
• Lead technical direction across Bose Labs and partners.
