Job summary

Arcadis in the Northeast seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer with deep water/wastewater expertise to lead electrical design for treatment facilities, pump stations, and related infra. Based in White Plains preferred, open to the Northeast.

This highly visible role requires mentoring engineers, shaping project delivery, and expanding Arcadis' client relationships while delivering sustainable, compliant solutions in line with NEC and industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, focused on municipal and industrial water/wastewater facilities.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design for water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
Serve as technical leader and client advisor on complex electrical projects.
Develop and review deliverables: power distribution, one-line diagrams, control schematics.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; support scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
Provide construction support: site inspections, submittal reviews, RFIs.
Mentor staff and support business development and growth.
