Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer in Roy, UT, to support the Sentinel program. The role focuses on facility electrical design, system integration, and power distribution decisions within a fast-paced defense environment.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with extensive power systems experience, be able to collaborate with engineering teams, and possess strong communication skills. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years or PhD with 0+ years.
• Experience with power system design and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of industry/military codes and standards (IEEE/NEC/NESC/NFPA/UFC).
• U.S. Citizenship with active Secret clearance or higher registered in SAP program.

Responsabilités

• Support design requirements for electrical power generation, conversion and distribution systems.
• Attend program milestone reviews to provide progress updates.
• Coordinate between facility electrical design and integration teams.
• Document electrical system design for weapon systems and coordinate work products.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to understand system interdependencies.
